Preceptorship Curriculum
Participants in the Endodontic Preceptorship Program will attend both graduate and undergraduate lectures, take part in the basic and advanced endodontic technique laboratory courses, and actively participate in graduate seminars, literature reviews, and case presentations. Exposure to ongoing Department research projects is also provided.
Eligible students will also be assigned to the Endodontic Clinic to develop clinical expertise in diagnosis, treatment planning and endodontic therapy. During the second half of the program, selected patients will be assigned who require treatment at a level commensurate with the demonstrated clinical abilities of the participants. All work is performed under the supervision of an Endodontic faculty member.
